Michael Horbovetz has a diverse professional background, currently serving as a Professional Photographer at MaxPreps since December 2017 while simultaneously holding the position of Leader in Software Engineering at Cisco Systems since September 2000, focusing on Webex Calling and Unified Communications. Prior to these roles, Michael gained experience as a Software Engineer at IPMobile until its acquisition by Cisco Systems, and as a Member of Technical Staff/Team Lead at Nortel, specializing in TDMA, CDMA, and Satellite Networks. Additionally, Michael contributed to education as a Continued Education Teacher at Collin County Community College, teaching a C++ course. Early career experiences include software engineering at DSC Communications, where work involved Platform I/O and AIN. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
