Alex B. is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in system-on-chip (SOC) design and project management in the telecommunications and defense sectors. Currently serving as Project Director at MaxLinear since July 2022, Alex leads the development of high-speed data center SOCs, including a 6Tbps DSP SOC for OSFP-1600 modules. Prior experience includes Technical Director at Leonardo DRS, where Alex managed SOC architecture projects, wrote technical proposals, and mentored engineering teams. Previous roles at MACOM, Maxim Integrated, and Solarflare Communications involved significant contributions to high-speed communication technologies and product development. Alex holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
