Sanjeev Sood is an accomplished risk, governance, compliance, and fraud prevention specialist with over 20 years of experience in the Telecom and BFSI sectors. Currently serving as the EVP Internal Assurance and Chief Audit Executive at Max Life Insurance Company Limited since April 2010, Sanjeev Sood has held various leadership positions including Senior Vice President and Head Internal Audit & Assurance, and Corporate Vice President & Head Internal Audit, where responsibilities included formulating internal audit strategies and managing a large professional team. Prior experience includes a role as General Manager - Internal Audit & Risk Assessment at Bharti Airtel Limited, overseeing internal audit and risk management activities for the South Asia region. Sanjeev Sood is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds certifications from ISACA and IIA, in addition to a Diploma in Business Finance from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India.
