Sharon Yinyin Shu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sharon Yinyin most recently served as the Chief People Officer at Max Mara Fashion Group starting in July 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Managing Director, Costa China Retail at Costa Coffee from November 2019 to June 2020, and also served as the HR Director, China for the company from November 2017 to November 2019.

Before their time at Costa Coffee, Sharon worked at Johnson & Johnson in various roles. Sharon Yinyin was the Global HR Leader for Global Marketing & Change Program from March 2015 to October 2017, the Associate HR Director for Asia R&D from June 2013 to March 2015, and the Senior HR Manager for China R&D from February 2011 to June 2013.

Prior to Johnson & Johnson, they worked as an HR Manager for Asia Brand Marketing at Avon from September 2009 to January 2011. Before that, Sharon was the Compensation & Benefit Manager for China at The Timken Company from August 2005 to September 2009, and the HR Supervisor at Cadbury plc. from January 2003 to August 2005.

Sharon Yinyin Shu earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance & Investment from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology from 1997 to 2001. Sharon Yinyin then pursued a Master of Science degree in Financial Economics at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2001 to 2002.
