Katie Murphy is a Senior Associate in the Medical Negligence Practice at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers since March 2014, and concurrently serves as a Lawyer for the HeLP Patient Legal Clinic at Alfred Health since May 2015. Katie has a comprehensive legal background, including prior roles as a Seasonal Clerk at both Herbert Smith Freehills in Singapore and Melbourne, as well as a Seasonal Clerk in Workplace Injuries at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers. Starting as a Paralegal in Medical Negligence at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, Katie has developed expertise in medical law through a Master's degree from King's College London. Additionally, educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Law and Mandarin from Monash University, along with studies in Mandarin at Beijing Language and Culture University.
