Daniel Taub is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various industries, including architecture, orthodontics, and 3D printing. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Matterport, Daniel focuses on developing tools for customizing virtual architectural experiences using 3D scan data. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at LightForce Orthodontics as a Senior Software Engineer, creating CAD software for digital orthodontics. Experience also includes positions at Markforged, Hokukahu Inc, Autodesk, and CEMI Electronic Media Institute, where Daniel co-founded and served as CFO. Daniel holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
