Donald Thomas is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in composites and mechanical design. Currently employed as a Composites Engineer and CNC Machinist at Intech Defense since June 2022, Donald previously worked as a Composites Operator at Matrix Composites from August 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Technician at Express Repair, focusing on troubleshooting mechanical issues and managing maintenance schedules, and as a Mechanical Designer at ÆtherVision LLC, where expertise in magnetic ducted fan aeropropulsion systems was utilized. Early career experience includes positions at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, contributing to innovative projects in microwave power transmission and participating in a student apprenticeship program. Donald holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and an Associate of Science in Aeronautics from Eastern Florida State College.
