Early career experience includes a role as Analista Programmatore at Electronic Data System from August 1997 to August 2008, specializing in software analysis and development using J2EE technology. Carmina holds a Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Chimica from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, completed in 1997.
