Ryan T. currently serves as a Research Engineer on the SLAM team at Matic, a consumer robotics company focused on autonomous home robots, since June 2023. Previously, Ryan has held several positions, including Graduate Student Researcher and Undergraduate Student at the University of Maryland, and a Digital Signal Processing Engineer at Nuro, where Ryan developed algorithms for radars used in self-driving delivery vehicles. Additional experience includes roles as a Radar Intern at Nuro and an intern at Intelligent Automation, Inc., contributing to technology development in radar and positioning systems. Ryan founded blair3sat, a CubeSat team during high school, and completed internships at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, focusing on satellite communication protocols and deep learning applications. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Maryland, as well as a high school diploma from Montgomery Blair High School.
