Megan Wallner is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in science education. Currently serving as a Math for America Master Teacher of Science Fellow since September 2014, Wallner also has been a Living Environment Teacher with the NYC Department of Education since September 2009. Previous roles include Barcode Long Island Fellow at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from July 2015 to July 2019, and participation in the Earth Expeditions program through Project Dragonfly at Miami University in August 2016. Wallner’s international experience includes serving as an Assistant English Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) (JET) from July 2007 to July 2008. Wallner holds a Master of Arts in Science Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Drew University.
