Nader Nezafati has extensive experience in biomedical engineering, particularly in the areas of material fabrication and evaluation for medical applications. Currently affiliated with the Materials and Energy Research Center (MERC) since February 2013, Nader has held several significant roles as executive manager of various research plans at the Iran National Science Foundation from 2012 to 2021. Notable projects include the development of hydroxylethyl cellulose-based scaffolds for cartilage repair and the exploration of bioactive materials for orthopedic implants. Nader holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), complemented by a Master of Science (MSc) in the same field from the same institution.
