Mohammad Farvizi currently serves as the Associate Editor of Tribology - Materials, Surfaces & Interfaces at IOM3 Journals since October 2021. In addition, Mohammad has been associated with the Materials and Energy Research Center (MERC) since September 2013, holding positions such as Associate Professor, Director of Industrial Relations and Market Study, Assistant Professor, Director of Research Affairs and Documentation, and Technical Director. Previously, Mohammad worked as a Scientific Researcher at Pohang University of Science and Technology from 2011 to 2012. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Engineering from the Materials and Energy Research Center (2007-2013), a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (2004-2006), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Engineering from the University of Tabriz (2000-2004).
