Babak Efafi is a Senior Researcher at Iran University of Science and Technology since October 2022, focusing on energy harvesting through thermoelectric generator fabrication using cement paste/GQD/MoS2 hybrid structures. Additionally, Babak serves as a Researcher at the Materials and Energy Research Center (MERC) since September 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Iran University of Science and Technology from June 2015 to January 2021, where Babak worked on various sensor fabrications, and as a Lecturer at Kharazmi University from 2013 to 2021, teaching courses on fundamentals of physics and electricity and magnetism. Babak's background also includes laboratory management and research fellowships in nanophotonics and quantum sensor design. Babak holds a PhD in Physics from Iran University of Science and Technology (2014-2018) and has completed both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Kharazmi University.
