Americo Gamarra is a seasoned professional in geospatial information systems with extensive experience in various roles, including Senior GIS Analyst at Matador Resources Company since July 2022, and Lead GIS Consultant at Infosys from July 2020 to June 2022. Prior to these positions, Gamarra held senior roles at Hunt Oil Company and served as GIS & Document Management Supervisor at both Hunt Oil Company and COLP SAC. Gamarra's career in GIS began as GIS Projects Leader at TELEMATICA S.A. Additionally, Gamarra is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Geospatial Information Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas, expected to graduate in August 2027, and holds a Master’s Degree in Geographic Information Systems from Penn State University, completed in 2015.
