Alex (A.J.) Kinney

Alex (A.J.) Kinney has worked in the marketing and sales industry for the past nine years. From 2015 to present, they have been the Director of Partnerships at Matador Network, the largest independent travel media website. In this role, they work with destination management organizations, convention and visitors bureaus, and brands to help tell their stories through engaging content and videos. From 2014 to 2015, they were an Account Manager at Brandpoint/DreamPlanGo, where they worked directly with CVBs, marketing agencies, and hotels and resorts to deliver the best possible experience. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Marketing and Sales Assistant at Apex Information Technologies. In this role, they promoted and drove sales of their products and services, managed trade shows, maintained their website, updated social media, managed CRM/Salesforce, performed SEO and analytics, and managed promotional items. Alex (A.J.) worked closely with the CEO, Vice President of Sales, President, and Sales Representatives to complete tasks such as proposals and RFPs while managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks.

Alex (A.J.) Kinney attended St. Norbert College from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a focus in Marketing and Environmental Science. Alex (A.J.) also attended Cretin Derham Hall from 2003 to 2007.
