Ray L. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple creative roles and industries. Ray started their career at McCann Worldgroup as an Associate Creative Director, where they worked on a team led by the Global Chief Creative Officer. Ray then moved on to SapientRazorfish as an Associate Creative Director, leading projects for clients such as Citibank, Spotify, Uniqlo, and Mercedes-Benz.
Afterwards, Ray joined MullenLowe U.S. as an Associate Creative Director, working on clients such as Hilton, Fage, and U. Ray then took on the role of VP/Creative Director at DigitasLBi_US, where they played a key role in raising the creative standards of the agency.
Ray then became a Creative Director at Ogilvy, where they led the creative direction for Singapore Changi Airport. Ray later joined Apple as a Creative, working in-house through Kettle, where they contributed to various creative aspects including creative direction, UX, content strategy, and managing juniors.
Their next venture was at Kettle as an Associate Creative Director, where they oversaw content strategy, UX, creative ideation, and copywriting for Apple.com. Ray also mentored junior creatives and was involved in pitching for new business opportunities.
Ray then joined Edelman as the VP Creative Director, where they returned to New York City after relocating during the pandemic. In this role, they continued to solve creative challenges and contribute to the agency's success.
Most recently, Ray started working at MasterClass as a Creative, focusing on worldbuilding and applying their creative problem-solving skills across brand, performance, and lifecycle projects.
Ray L. completed their Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from CQUniversity between 1995 and 1998. Following that, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Multimedia degree from Swinburne University of Technology from 2001 to 2003.
