Craig Vosburg

Chief Services Officer at Mastercard

Craig Vosburg is chief product officer for Mastercard and a member of the company’s management committee.

He leads an integrated product management and engineering organization, specifically designed to maximize the company’s customer-centric focus through an end-to-end approach to design and delivery. The team will innovate and scale the products and services that solve real-world problems and help shape the fabric of the modern global economy.

Included in the product organization are areas integral to growing Mastercard’s business and executing on opportunities in multi-rail, digital and B2B payments – consumer products, commercial products, acceptance solutions, real-time, account-to-account and push payments, processing, open banking and Mastercard Labs. This includes the legacy Mastercard products, as well as the expanded range of payment flows supported by Vocalink, Transactis, Finicity and other recent acquisitions.

Prior to assuming this role, he served as president of North America for Mastercard, overseeing the company's operations and customer-facing activities in the United States and Canada. Craig also previously led the company’s global card-based products offerings.

He originally joined Mastercard in 2006 as head of Mastercard Advisors in Southeast Asia, Greater China, and South Asia/Middle East/Africa. In 2008, he was named managing director of the Mastercard Advisors business in the U.S. and Canada. In 2010, Craig was named group executive, U.S. Market Development, responsible for managing and building relationships within the merchant and acquiring community.

Earlier in his career, Craig was a senior member of the Financial Services practices with Bain & Company and A.T. Kearney, and was a vice president at CoreStates Financial Corporation.

Craig is a past David Rockefeller Fellow at the Partnership for New York City. He sits on the Board of Directors of the New York Botanical Garden and Sultana Education Foundation and the Board of Trustees of CancerCare. Craig holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
