Christopher Smith is an accomplished sports journalist with extensive experience in covering major league baseball. Since April 2015, Christopher has served as the Red Sox Beat Reporter for MassLive.com and is a member of the Baseball Writersā€™ Association of America. Prior to this role, Christopher worked as a sports reporter for The Eagle-Tribune, where responsibilities included daily coverage of the Boston Red Sox, as well as other Boston sports teams. Christopherā€™s freelance writing includes co-authoring the autobiography of former NHL player and referee Paul Stewart, focusing on personal and professional challenges. Earlier achievements include winning the Associated Press Sports Editors award while working at the Southeast Missourian. Christopher holds a Masterā€™s degree in journalism from Syracuse University and a Bachelorā€™s degree in English Language and Literature from Merrimack College.
