Dr. Santos currently practices at the Center for Hematology¨COncology (Boca Raton, FL). He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Biomedical Sciences at Florida Atlantic University and is Vice Chairman of the FLASCO (Florida Society of Clinical Oncology) Membership Committee. He earned his MD in 1994 at the University of Panama School of Medicine, Republic of Panama, and completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Medical Center, University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Miami, FL.
He has authored/co-authored manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, serves as a reviewer for several scientific publications, and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Expert Review series, Recent Patents on Biomarkers, and Clinical Practice. He has lectured on lung, head, and neck cancers; lymphoproliferative disorders; and multiple myeloma. His research focuses on conducting and developing the early phases of clinical trials. Dr. Santos is a recognized global expert in hematology; lung, head, and neck cancers; biomarkers; and clinical practice and advises Massive Bio on these subjects.
