Amir Ameli is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in fracture mechanics, environmental durability, and adhesives and adhesion. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell since September 2019, Amir previously held the position of Assistant Professor at Washington State University from January 2015 to July 2019. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral role and graduate research assistantship at the University of Toronto from 2006 to December 2014. Additionally, Amir contributed as a course instructor and teaching assistant at Islamic Azad University between 2004 and 2005, and as a graduate research assistant at Sharif University of Technology from September 2001 to January 2004. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, an MSc from Sharif University of Technology, and a BSc from the University of Tabriz.
