Mahsa Zarei is a graduate research assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital and a data scientist at Miraterra Inc., where efforts are focused on enhancing soil and agricultural chemical predictions through machine learning and advanced signal processing. As a research assistant at The University of British Columbia, expertise includes machine learning, chemometrics, multivariate data analysis, Raman spectroscopy, and signal processing. Additionally, Mahsa has served as a lead teaching assistant for multiple courses and completed a Mitacs Accelerate internship at Terramera. Previous roles include member organizer for the Canadian Union of Public Employees and teaching assistant roles at the University of Tehran. Mahsa Zarei is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry at The University of British Columbia, having completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry with a minor in Statistics from the University of Tehran.
