Mark Bilotta is the CEO of Massachusetts Education and Career Opportunities. Mark has over 25 years of experience in the higher education industry, most recently as the founder of CollegeValue LLC. Prior to that, they served as the CEO of the Colleges of Worcester Consortium.
Mark is a consumer advocate in the higher education industry, with a focus on promoting user-friendly, online tools and publications for students and their families to use when searching for a college as a good 'financial fit.' Mark has created innovative financial aid comparison tools and four editions of 'Paying for College: Before, During and After.'
In 2013, Mark guided the legal separation of the two divisions of the Colleges of Worcester Consortium - the statewide network of programs and the shared academic and administrative services for member colleges and universities. The statewide network of programs maintained the corporate entity and was renamed Massachusetts Education and Career Opportunities, Inc. (MassEdCO), of which Mark continues to serve as President of the Board. The shared academic and administrative services for member colleges and universities established a new 501(c)3 nonprofit and was renamed Higher Education Consortium of Central Massachusetts (HECCMA).
Mark Bilotta completed a Bachelor of Arts in English from the College of the Holy Cross and then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Clark University. Mark also attended Saint Bernard's Central Catholic High School.
