Ricardo De Armas, MD MBA, is a Cardiologist currently in fellowship at Mass General Brigham since June 2020 and also serves as a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School since May 2020. As an Instructor of Medicine, Ricardo contributes to medical education and training. Additionally, since August 2019, Ricardo is Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of MonitAir, LLC, a digital health start-up focused on remote patient monitoring for sleep. Ricardo gained early exposure to the medical field through a summer internship at Covidien (Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) in 2014, where assistance was provided in establishing an innovation lab in São Paulo, Brazil. Academic credentials include an M.D. from Harvard Medical School (2015-2020), an MBA from Harvard Business School (2018-2020), and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2011-2015).
