Hugo Aerts is a prominent academic and research leader in the field of artificial intelligence in medicine and bioinformatics. Since November 2019, Hugo Aerts has served as the Director of the Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIM) Program at Mass General Brigham while holding the position of Associate Professor at Harvard University since 2013. Additionally, Hugo Aerts is a Full Professor at Maastricht University and an Associate Professor at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where extensive research in genomics and bioinformatics was conducted under Dr. John Quackenbush.
