Andrey Gaponenko is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in international tax structuring and planning. Currently serving as the Head of Tax at Masdar since March 2021, Andrey's previous roles include Senior Tax Manager at EY and Senior Associate at PwC, where responsibilities encompassed a wide range of tax-related services, including tax compliance review, multi-jurisdiction project coordination, and BEPS impact assessments. Early career positions included roles at the State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship and various banks, where Andrey developed strong skills in regulatory policy and financial management. Andrey holds a Master's degree in International Business from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and a Certificate in International Trust Management from CLT International, with ongoing studies in ACCA.
