Catherine Girard is an experienced communications professional and scholar with a focus on geopolitical and international relations. Currently serving as Communications Manager at GLOBSEC since April 2022, Catherine manages communication strategies for various projects and oversees online communications during major events. In addition, Catherine maintains a role as a researcher at Masaryk University, collaborating on studies related to far-right extremism, while also teaching academic writing. Formerly an Analytical Researcher at the Centre for Applied Nonviolent Action and Strategies, Catherine conducted region-specific analyses on pro-democracy movements. Catherine holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Political Science and is pursuing further studies at Masaryk University, alongside a Master's in Conflict and Democracy Studies and various Bachelor's degrees in Commerce.
