Rush Kester possesses extensive experience in various educational and volunteer roles within the community. As a volunteer Coach and Mentor for the FIRST LEGO League since September 2010, Rush has fostered teamwork and creativity among young learners. Instructing First Aid, CPR, AED, Water Safety, and Lifeguarding for the American Red Cross since September 1990 showcases dedication to safety education. Additional contributions include volunteering as a First Aider and Outdoor Programs supporter with the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland and providing Adapted Aquatics training independently. Rush's expertise as a Process Improvement Engineer has been demonstrated through consulting work aimed at enhancing organizational efficiency. Former roles with other organizations, such as the Boy Scouts of America and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, further illustrate Rush's commitment to community development and education. Educational qualifications include training in Adapted Aquatics and Aquatics Instruction, complemented by leadership development through Wood Badge training.
