Greg Africa currently serves as the Division Chief of Operations at Maryland Environmental Service, overseeing a 100-person organization with an annual budget of US$21 million focused on solid waste, recycling, and composting operations. Previously, Greg Africa held key positions within Anne Arundel County Government, including Director of Inspections and Permits, managing all permits and licenses for construction, and Deputy Director of Public Works, overseeing a US$101 million department responsible for road infrastructure and stormwater management. Earlier experience includes serving as Division Director of Waste Management Services at Maryland Environmental Service and as a Project Manager at EQ General Contractors. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland, an MBA from the University of the Philippines, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, also from the University of the Philippines.
