Missy Mattey is the executive director of the Howard Community College Educational Foundation and the director of development for Howard Community College. As the executive director, her responsibilities include administration of the Howard Community College Educational Foundation operations. As the director, her responsibilities include providing strategic leadership and management to the development and alumni relations office. She is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising programs including donor identification, cultivation and relations; major gifts campaign; and other revenue-generating activities; and soliciting private support from corporations, foundations, alumni, faculty/staff and friends of the college.

Missy has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Notre Dame of Maryland University.

Current board/service affiliations include: treasurer of the Maryland Community College Fundraising Professionals affinity group; a member of the Howard County Estate Planning Council Board; and a member of the Howard County Police Foundation Board.
