Mesha C. Newton, MA, serves as the Program Manager at the Maryland Coalition of Families since August 2022, where responsibilities include innovating methodologies to empower staff and monitoring contract deliverables for a nonprofit focused on supporting families with behavioral health challenges. Previously, Mesha held the position of Program Director at Living Classrooms Foundation, overseeing program development and fiscal management, and served as Program Manager at Seedco, managing career case managers working with justice-involved youth. Additionally, Mesha was the Adult Re-Entry Coordinator at Bon Secours, facilitating career plans and reducing employment barriers for participants. Mesha holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development & Management and Leadership from Webster University, a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Charleston Southern University, and an Associate of Arts in Criminology from Horry-Georgetown Technical College.
