Rosemary Sanders-Rose has undertaken several roles in public life such as serving as a governor of five schools, ranging from a nursery to a large comprehensive, including as Chair of Governors of three of the five. Rosemary has also been a councillor at Parish, District and County levels as well as Parish Chairman for several years, District Chairman in 1985 and then Leader and has wide local government experience.
A non-executive Director of Sovereign Housing association for 12 years she also chaired its largest subsidiary of some 15,000 properties throughout southern England. In addition, Rosemary is a current committee member of the local branch of The Royal British Legion and Macmillan Cancer Care and other organisations as well as a past committee member of the Women’s Institute among other interests. Rosemary was awarded the OBE in 1994 for political and public service
