Salil Lal is an experienced human resources professional with a diverse career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Maruti Suzuki India Limited since February 2012, Salil previously held key HR leadership roles at Ingersoll Rand Industrial Technology, Caparo Engineering, Good Year India, Electrolux, and The Tinplate Company of India Ltd. Salil began the career as a Personnel Officer - Trainee at Tata Steel Jamshedpur and has developed a strong expertise in HR management and development. Salil holds a Post Graduate degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XISS Ranchi, obtained between 1990 and 1992.
