Prerna Umbarkar is an experienced professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as an Assistant Manager in Assembly Engineering at Maruti Suzuki India Limited since July 2022. Responsibilities include conducting assembly feasibility studies, managing resources, optimizing processes, and engaging in digital mock-up units and plant simulation. Prior to this role, Prerna held positions such as Vehicle Dynamics Lead and CFO, as well as Suspension Engineer at Team Octane Racing Electric, contributing to various aspects of vehicle dynamics and suspension design. Prerna began their career as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Maruti Suzuki and completed a summer internship there in 2021. Educational qualifications include a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from COEP Technological University, along with leadership roles during the academic tenure at Delhi Public School, where Prerna was Co-curricular Captain and Cultural Secretary for Dance.
