Yasuaki Watanabe is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in project finance and business development across Asia. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for Nghi Son 2 Power Company and holding the position of Senior Vice President at Marubeni Asian Power Vietnam since September 2019, Watanabe has played a pivotal role in strategic financial management. Prior experience at Shinsei Bank, from April 2003 to August 2019, included various senior roles in international project finance, culminating in the position of Senior Credit Manager. Watanabe's educational background features an Executive MSc in International Strategy and Diplomacy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, and a BA in Economics from Keio University.
