Jy Bhardwaj is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in research and development, entrepreneurship, and leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as Entrepreneur in Residence at Capricorn Investment Group since March 2019, Jy previously held high-level positions at Lumileds, including Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of R&D from April 2013 to March 2019. Additional roles include Executive Vice President of Technology R&D at Philips Lumileds and CTO of Optical Communications at JDSU. Jy has also been a CEO at Scion Photonics and held the position of CTO at STS. Jy earned a BEng and PhD from the University of Liverpool between 1978 and 1986.
