Ikram Barkad has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ikram started their career at MaineHealth in 2016 as a Patient Financial Services employee, where they were responsible for various tasks including billing, cash posting, reconciliation, refund processing, and claim follow-up. Ikram then joined Argo Marketing Group in 2017 as a Sales Representative. Later, in 2018, they joined Martin's Point Health Care as a Claims Research Specialist. During their tenure at Martin's Point, they held positions such as Supervisor of Health Plan Enrollment and Premium Billing, and currently, they serve as a Policy and Benefit Program Administrator.

Ikram Barkad attended Southern Maine Community College from 2015 to 2016 and obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General studies.
