Aaron Dewlen has a diverse work experience. Aaron began their career in 2000 as a Park Ranger for the US Army Corps of Engineers. In 2002, they transitioned to become a Secondary Science Teacher for Haven USD #312 and held that position for ten years. From 2012 to 2013, they served as the High School Principal for Hardesty Public Schools. Aaron then became the PreK - 12 Building Principal for Goodwell Public Schools from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2018, Aaron worked as the Jr/Sr High School Principal for Argonia Unified School District 359. In 2019, they joined Martin Interconnect Services as the Director of Training until 2020 when they became the Chief Human Resource Officer for Martin Interconnect Svc Inc.

Aaron Dewlen holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Baker University, which they earned from 2009 to 2011. Aaron also obtained Secondary Teaching Credentials from Pittsburg State University from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, General from Lake Forest College from 1996 to 1998. In 1994, Aaron Dewlen received an Associate's degree in Science from Independence Community College.
