Efrain Acosta-Leon, M.D. serves as the Chief Medical Officer at New Horizons of the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee since February 2023 and is the Owner/Manager of Psychiatry Boutique since August 2022, directing specialty psychiatric care. Efrain holds the position of Chief Executive Officer/Owner at A & P Psychiatric Services PLLC, providing outpatient psychiatric services and serving as Medical Director at HARC, along with involvement in Martin County Mental Health Court. Since May 2020, Efrain has contributed as a psychiatrist for the Martin County Mental Health Program, working with the Nineteen Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. Previous experience includes roles at Harm Reduction Center, United Health Services, and HCA Healthcare, offering both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric services. Efrain's education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and an Adult General Psychiatry Residency from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
