Amelia Hambrecht, RN

Amelia Hambrecht, RN, has extensive work experience in various healthcare settings. Amelia began their career as a Student Nurse at St. Joseph Health in 2015 before transitioning to Martha's Vineyard Hospital, where they worked as a Student RN in the Emergency Room in 2015. Amelia then worked as a Freelance Writer from 1990 to 2015.

In 2016, Amelia joined CrowdRx, Inc. as a Trauma Room Nurse at BurningMan, providing care in a field hospital for one week. Amelia also worked as an Emergency Room RN at St. Lukes Medical Center, caring for patients in a level 3 trauma center.

Amelia's experience as an Operating Room RN includes working at Bassett Healthcare Network, where they completed the AORN Peri-Op 101 certification, served on hospital committees, and cared for patients in a Level 2 medical school trauma hospital. Amelia also worked as an Operating Room RN at Advanced Medical Solutions at Desert Regional Medical Center.

As a Travel Nurse, Amelia worked for various agencies including US Nursing, Fastaff, Nurse Choice, Snap Nurse, Rapid Staff, Freedom, and Health Source Global. Amelia provided temporary OR circulator services in different specialties and hospitals, including teaching hospitals, COVID-19 response hospitals, and vaccine sites.

Most recently, Amelia joined Care Access in 2022 as a Travel Clinical Research Coordinator, RN. In this role, they assess and evaluates clinical subjects for Pfizers Lyme Vaccine clinical trial, adhering to research protocols.

Throughout their career, Amelia Hambrecht, RN, has gained experience in a wide range of healthcare roles, including operating room nursing, emergency room nursing, research coordination, and trauma care.

Amelia Hambrecht, RN has a diverse education history. Amelia began their education in 1982 at Dominican University of California, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. Amelia completed their undergraduate studies in 1986. In 1989, Amelia returned to Dominican University of California to pursue a Master of Science degree in Education, which they completed in 1991.

After a significant gap, Amelia resumed their education in 2012 at Bellarmine University. Amelia pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse and graduated in 2014. Following this, they attended Santa Rosa Junior College from 2014 to 2015, where they earned an Associate Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.

In addition to their educational achievements, Amelia has obtained several certifications. Amelia is registered as a nurse in multiple states, including California, Idaho, Nevada, and Massachusetts. Amelia also holds certifications in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) from Care Access and AORN Periop 101 from AORN.
