John Gardner, APR, has extensive experience in communications and public relations, currently serving as the Director of Communications at Marshfield Clinic Health System since November 2016. In this role, John oversees the development of internal and external communications strategies for a comprehensive health system in Wisconsin. Prior to Marshfield Clinic, John worked as a Senior Public Relations Consultant for Northwestern Mutual from August 2012 to November 2016 and as a Public Relations Consultant at Zeppos & Associates, where John held the title of Senior Account Executive. Earlier experience includes serving as Public Relations Manager at Executive Director, Inc., where John managed communications for prominent healthcare associations. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, earned between 1995 and 2000.
