Sean Joyce is an experienced Chartered Building Engineer and Associate member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE), currently serving as an Associate Fire Engineer at Marshall Fire Ltd since October 2024, specializing in fire safety consultancy across various sectors. Prior to this role, Sean held multiple positions at BB7, including Technical Associate, Associate Fire Consultant, and Senior Fire Consultant from May 2021 to October 2024. Sean also served as a Senior Building Control Project Manager and Building Control Project Manager at SOCOTEC Building Control from October 2014 to April 2021. Additionally, experience includes a part-time lecturer position at The University of Huddersfield in early 2019, and various building control roles at STMC Building Control Ltd and J.M Wray Ltd. Sean holds a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and a Higher National Diploma in Building Studies, both obtained from Sheffield Hallam University.
