Michael Williams is an experienced executive in the manufacturing and supply chain sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Manufacturing for Pet Nutrition North America at Mars since June 2011. Williams leads the procurement operational strategy across 14 manufacturing plants, collaborating with over 600 suppliers. Previous roles at Mars include Manufacturing Director and Plant Manager for major production facilities. Before joining Mars, Williams held various positions at PepsiCo - Frito Lay from 2002 to 2011, managing operations and supply chains within the potato chip business. Williams began a career in the US Army as an Officer from 1992 to 2001. Academically, Williams earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from South Carolina State University and a Master of Science in International Relations and Affairs from Troy University.
