Spencer Slemenda is a seasoned design professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as Director - Principle Designer for UX Design Systems at Marriott International since May 2024, Slemenda previously held the role of VP Experience Design Director at WHITE64, where leadership of the digital design team facilitated innovative product delivery aligned with brand strategy. Slemenda's extensive background includes a tenure as VP Design & UX at Full Measure Education Inc., overseeing user-centered product design, and as Design Director at Pappas Group, where oversight of the east coast creative department fostered innovative ideas and client acquisition. Other notable roles include Senior Art Director positions at both HZDG and Pappas Group, and experience in marketing communications at The Ex One Company. Slemenda began a career in design as a freelance graphic designer and as the owner of Mainframe Skateshop & 9MM Urethane, combining retail and creative direction. Slemenda holds a BS in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes and has foundational education from the Cleveland Institute of Art.
