Katie Hearns is a current student at Virginia Tech, pursuing a degree in Marketing and Hospitality Tourism Management. Since April 2022, Katie serves as the Treasurer for the VT Chapter of CHAARG, overseeing a budget exceeding $2,000 and organizing over ten events each semester for more than 150 members, with a focus on health and fitness. Prior to this role, Katie held several positions at NV Pools, including Senior Area Supervisor, where responsibilities included managing staff, scheduling, and customer relations. Katie also has experience as a cashier at Wegmans Food Markets, receiving multiple customer service acknowledgments and a college scholarship, along with earlier roles as a lifeguard and head lifeguard at various community pools.
