Nathan Ertel began their work experience in 2010 as a Youth Pastor at Old Fields Baptist Church. In 2011, they then moved on to become the Executive Director of Operations at Marketplace Chaplains, where they currently hold this position.

Nathan Ertel's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Christian Studies from North Greenville University, which they obtained between 2002 and 2008. Nathan then pursued a Master of Christian Ministry degree at the same institution from 2009 to 2012. Nathan furthered their education by completing a Master of Arts degree in Christian Leadership at Liberty University between 2012 and 2014.
