Lorcan Sheehan is currently an advisor at MarketNation. Lorcan has over 25 years of experience in supply chain management, e-commerce, and finance.
Sheehan started their career at Arthur Andersen as an audit and business advisory consultant. Lorcan then transitioned to RR Donnelley, where they served as the financial controller for a new operational division focused on e-commerce fulfilment. In this role, they were responsible for setting up the accounting function and financial infrastructure for the management of end user payments and taxes across Europe.
In 1995, Sheehan joined Modus Media International as the general manager of eFulfillment. Lorcan quickly turned around the loss-making business unit, achieving double digit operating income within two years. Under their leadership, Modus Media became a leader in e-commerce services and achieved consistent client satisfaction improvements.
In 2003, Sheehan left Modus Media to become the CEO of PerformanSC Supply Chain. In this role, they were responsible for PerformanSC’s global supply chain management strategy and execution. Lorcan led the company through a period of rapid growth and expansion, successfully increasing profits and shareholder value.
Sheehan has been an advisor at MarketNation since 2018. In this role, they provide strategic guidance to businesses on supply chain management, e-commerce, and finance.
Lorcan Sheehan's educational career includes completing an executive education program at Harvard Business School in building and sustaining competitive advantage. Lorcan is also a FCA (Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants) and ACA (Chartered Accountant) through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. In addition, they hold a DPA (Diploma in Professional Accounting) from University College Dublin and a B Comm (Bachelor of Commerce) in Accounting and Finance from the same school.
