Mayra Sánchez-GarcÃa is an experienced environmental scientist with a Master's degree in Environmental Science from Universidad de Puerto Rico and a Bachelor's degree in the same field. Currently serving as a Senior Research Assistant at Marine Biological Laboratory, Mayra has been involved in data gathering and analysis, project management, and student supervision since November 2017. Previous roles include Biologist at G2S Corporation, where responsibilities included leading quality control efforts and data analysis for CDC-related projects, and various research positions at the University of Puerto Rico, where Mayra contributed to marine biology research and mentored students. Earlier experience includes fieldwork as a Hydrology Technician for the U.S. Forest Service, focusing on water budget analysis and land use impacts.
