Thomas Galvin

County Supervisor, District 2 at Maricopa County

Thomas Galvin serves as County Supervisor for District 2 in Maricopa County since December 2021, having pushed for the largest property tax cut in the county's history and overseeing a $4.4 billion budget and 13,000 employees. Elected in 2022, Galvin represents several communities including Scottsdale and Phoenix. As a Partner at Rose Law Group since March 2015, Galvin advocates for homeowners and small businesses in land use, real estate, and water law, successfully mobilizing constituents against incompatible developments and advising clients on legislative matters. Prior experience includes serving as Policy Advisor to Commissioner Brenda Burns at the Arizona Corporation Commission from January 2011 to March 2015, focusing on public utility regulation and energy matters. Galvin holds a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School and a degree in History from the College of the Holy Cross.
