Cate McNamara, Ph.D., is an experienced academic and library services professional currently serving as the Director of Library Services and Professor of Information Studies at Maricopa Community Colleges. Since 2001, Cate has led library and college-related projects, fostering educational partnerships and creating a collegial environment to support faculty and staff. Previous roles include Faculty Associate at Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University, where Cate developed and taught courses in public administration and political science. Cate's extensive educational background includes a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Arizona State University and a Master's in Library Science from the University at Albany. Additionally, relevant work experience includes serving as a Principal Investigator for research projects and providing specialized library services at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
