Asim Z. has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 2001. Asim began their career as a SPO at Genix Pharma Private Limited in 2001. Asim then moved to Amarant Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd. in 2007, where they worked as a District Sales Manager. In 2009, Asim Z. started working at CCL Pharmaceuticals as an SM, where they monitored and analyzed sales achievements in districts on a daily and weekly basis. In 2020, they became Sales Manager at BMED Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Limited. Asim Z. is currently City Manager at Marham, a position they have held since 2022.

Asim Z. attended Karachi University from 1996 to 1998 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics.
